Annual Reports, Publications & Layout

Typography and layout were the foundation of my design education—and the first areas where I truly found my voice as a visual communicator. From my earliest days studying design, I was drawn to the structure, rhythm, and nuance of editorial work. That passion translated directly into my first professional role, where I worked as a magazine layout designer for a medical publication, honing my ability to balance complex information with clean, accessible design.

As my skill set expanded, so did my approach to publication work. Today, I often incorporate my own photography and illustration into custom layouts—blending content creation with design to create highly tailored, visually rich publications. Whether I’m working on an annual report, campaign collateral, or a multi-page brochure, I approach each piece as a storytelling opportunity, where clarity, hierarchy, and visual craft come together.

In a later role, I brought this skillset to a corporate environment, where I was tasked with helping the company elevate its marketing and proposal materials. By redesigning their layouts and visual strategy, I helped them secure multiple multimillion-dollar contracts through materials that not only looked professional, but communicated trust, expertise, and vision.

From editorial spreads to government reports, I bring a deep understanding of how design systems, typography, and layout influence perception—and I apply that knowledge to create work that performs as beautifully as it looks.
