United States Postal Service Forever Stamp

Few design opportunities carry the quiet legacy of a U.S. postage stamp. When the United States Postal Service selected one of my photographs for a Forever Stamp, it was both an honor and a reminder of how powerful a single image can be. The photo—taken at sunset on Beach Two in Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary and Olympic National Park—captures a fleeting moment on one of the most remote and visually stunning coastlines in the country.

More than just a picture, the stamp contributes to a long tradition of honoring America’s public lands and natural heritage through everyday design. It’s a quiet tribute to the power of place—and the role design can play in connecting people to it.
